The CD Forum celebrates its 10th Anniversary Season by honoring our past and looking to our future. Too often, the Black experience in America is limited to the North and South, but the Black West is the frontier of a unique history. Join the CD Forum as we explore Blacks in the West with our American Heritage Series. We’ll trace the history of the Black migration and settling of the West, and discuss the influence on Black westerners today. How does the history of Black westerners inform their culture and identity? Are Black communities in the west vastly different than other areas?
