Ghida Sinno – Development Manager
Ghida Sinno is CD Forum’s Development Manager. She oversees the organization's development initiatives which include its annual campaign, special fund raising events, and individual giving. She will also collaborate with the Executive Director and the Board to expand CD Forum's current strategy and to further solidify its development infrastructure. Ghida first came to Seattle in 1993 to attend graduate school. Since then she has volunteered extensively in the non-profit sector while working as technology analyst at Washington Mutual. For the past two years, she has been working with many non-profits on a project-by project basis. Most recently, she was the 2005 coordinator of Arab Heritage Month at Richard Hugo House and the producer of the 2005 Arab Film Festival at Broadway Performance Hall. An award-winning writer, Ghida has received grants from Artist Trust as well as the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund and has completed a two-months residency at Hedgebrook. Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, she has earned a B.A. in English from UCLA and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Washington.
